Plain-language terms for using a free, browser-based image toolkit — no accounts, no subscriptions, just a few ground rules.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of babapic (the "Service"), accessible at babapic.com. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
The Service
babapic provides free, browser-based image tools (compression, resizing, format conversion, cropping, watermarking, passport photo formatting, and similar utilities). All processing happens locally in your browser — see our Privacy Policy for details. No account or payment is required to use any tool.
Acceptable use
You agree to use babapic only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service to process, generate, or attempt to generate content that:
- Infringes someone else's intellectual property or other legal rights;
- Is illegal, or depicts illegal acts, including any child sexual abuse material — this is never permitted under any circumstance;
- Is intended to harass, defame, or impersonate another person without consent;
- Attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or overload the Service's infrastructure (for example, automated scraping or denial-of-service attempts).
Because processing happens on your own device, we have no visibility into what you process and cannot monitor it in real time — this section describes what's permitted, not a claim that we review your use.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output files will be suitable for any specific purpose.
Passport and ID photo tools specifically: our passport/visa photo tools are designed to approximate common size and layout requirements (for example, US, UK, and India passport photo specifications) based on publicly available guidance at the time each tool was built. Official requirements — dimensions, background color, head position, and acceptance criteria — can and do change, and can vary by issuing authority, photo booth, or country.
We do not guarantee that a photo produced with these tools will be accepted by any passport office, visa center, embassy, or other authority. You are solely responsible for verifying the current official requirements with the relevant authority before submitting any photo, and for confirming the output meets them. Treat these tools as a convenient starting point, not a substitute for official guidance.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, babapic and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including, without limitation, a photo being rejected by a third party, a file being processed incorrectly, or the Service being temporarily unavailable. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
Intellectual property
You retain all ownership rights to any images or files you process using babapic. Because those files are processed locally in your browser and never uploaded to us, we never take possession of, store, or claim any license or rights over your content — there is nothing on our servers to claim rights to.
The babapic name, logo, site design, and the underlying code of the tools themselves are the property of babapic and may not be copied, redistributed, or used to build a competing service without permission.
Service availability
babapic is provided free of charge, and we make no guarantee of continuous or uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or the Service as a whole, at any time, without prior notice, for maintenance, improvement, or any other reason.
Advertising
babapic is supported by advertising (including Google AdSense). Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for the content of ads displayed, though we aim to keep ad placement unobtrusive and clearly labeled.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
